Article 08/05 : August 2005 Meeting.
The guest speaker for August was from the African Violet Society, which also holds its meetings at Burwood RSL. The talk was most informative and it was amazing how much the two societies have in common. The talk quickly turned to our common concerns of micro-climate, fertilisers, growing mediums, watering, pests, identification, etc. The wonderful display of African Violets were quickly bought out by members as soon as the talk finished.
