Peter Tristram ... "You have done well to bloom this delightful species in the tectorum group. Unfortunately it, like tomekii which is also in that group, does not thrive in my humid conditions, obviously liking Adelaide and also doing well in Melbourne I have noticed. There is certainly not much of it around in Australia and likely never will be! The only source (for me) was in Europe, primarily from Lotte and that door has now closed."
Ray Clark ... "Being a member of the tectorum complex, the scurf on this plant is pretty strong and gives the plant quite a delicate look yet it’s relatively hardy.
In habitat this one lives on rock walls at high altitudes in Peru.
Apologies for the brown bits, it is been a juggle of the last few months with almost no rain and misting / feeding at the right times."
