Tillandsia globosa X edithae (N.R.)
Peter Tristram ... "Barry and I are thinking the pollen plant of the globosa hybrid that I posted recently, is T. edithae. The elongated, very red flowers, scurfiness and caulescence hint at this.
Barry proposes T. Nicole or maybe Nicole plus middle name I forget, as a registration.
A couple of close ups attached. It's a ripper and tough as - takes full 35C+ summer sun (no shadecloth up yet), and lasts for months."
