Tillandsia fuchsii X juncea
Peter Tristram...."This plant attracted my attention at Heidelberg and Timm informed me it was a reputed natural hybrid between fuchsii and juncea. The old inflorescence had an interesting secund look. Now it is in bloom and the inflorescence still just as interesting but the colour scheme is really unusual. I wonder what other fuchsii hybrids are out there apart from Barry’s similarly delightful Millenium and the ionantha dominated Tisn’t that I’ve only seen on the BCR?"
