Chris Larson 08/13 ... "We imported this plant from Guatemala so many years ago that I can’t remember – probably 8 to 10 years.
Only 4 made it through quarantine. And they have been so slow. But lately, probably the last 12 months, they have put on good growth.
I’m looking at calling it TV chontalensis, unless someone has some other ideas.
It seems to be one of those plants that doesn’t like the heat, doesn’t like the cold, prefers higher humidity – that sort of plant."
