Tillandsia crocata X duratii by Barry Genn Qld.
(Original proposed name was T. 'Incas Gold', but this name was already in use by Tropical Imports as a Nursery name for T.Kashkin.)
Barry Genn ... "The crocata dominates flower colour but the clumping growth habit of crocata seems to have been lost.
About 20% flowered with tiny blue speckles on the flowers. I set the seed Oct 2000 and they started to flower in about 2010."
