Tillandsia Memory of Roy
flabellata x brachycaulos
Mature, open rosette to 25cm. diameter x 20cm. high. Arching, bronzed green, narrow, semi-channeled leaves which redden in strong light. Short branched inflorescence of scarlet red bracts and violet tubular flowers. Seed from the late breeder Roy Ford (Caloundra, Qld.) raised and named by Margaret Paterson, Queensland.

The seed was given to me from ROY FORD in Caloundra, who is no longer with us, thus the name. A lovely gentleman who loved all plants."
