Tillandsia Holm's Alberix
ixioides x albertiana
From BCR ... "Mature rosette to 7cm. diameter x 12 cm. high. Long-stemmed growth with few, mostly distichously arranged grey-green leaves. Densely adpressed trichomes cover those thick and channeled, slender, quite stiff and long leaves. The inflorescence is as long as the foliage and bears 4-5 vermillion / scarlet, open flowers (1,5-2 cm.). Unlike with 'Mystic Flame', this hybrid has predominantly distichous growth like the T. albertiana parent. Reg. Doc. 8/2016 by T Richter. Germany"
