Peter Tristram 06/17 ... "Andrew Flower: Your 'Luscious Lissa' is a very nice hybrid! Its reverse is here done by Barry - T. 'Cabaret', albeit with different clones. I do notice that RFI's gardneri are different to what's been in Aussie collections forever. The US form is more globose and the branches more pronounced. Both forms self set much seed. Your gardneri might be like this being from Pam and 'Luscious Lissa' looks more open than 'Cabaret'.
I took this photo of a nice clone of Barry's T. 'Cabaret' a week or so ago just as the first flowers were emerging. There are still some flowers to go so I'll see what mischief I can create."

Dale Dixon ... "This is a relatively large cultivar that exhibits the plant size and compact inflorescence of the seed parent T. gardneri. The flower size and colour of both parents are very similar but the pollen parent, T. roseiflora, brings the rosy hue to the floral bracts.
I suspend my plants of this cultivar on aluminium craft wire, hung in the southwest corner of the #TillHouse."
