From BSR ... "Mature open, upright rosette to 50cms. diameter x 50cms. high. Scurfed grey/puce leaves, slight cross-banding and with prominent black spines. Erect branched spike to 1.2 metres tall with powdery stem, rose pink scape bracts and lilac flowers.
