From BCR ... "Tall tubular rosette to 74 cm high, flaring at the top. About 7 maroon / tan leaves, each 7.5cm. wide. The foliage reverse has scurfed silver cross-banding. The 55 cm long pendent flower spike has large red scape bracts, green ridged ovaries, pale yellow sepals tipped purple plus recoiled light green petals edged purple.
