BJ Smith ... "Beautiful bromeliad flowering at the Coffs Harbour Botanic Garden! I think they said this plant is 40yrs old."
Bert Bettini ... "In my front yard. It's 15 years old."
Coby Causer Ryan ... "UNSW last week."
Michael Mahoney ... "Mine are 7yrs old they are all flowering this year."
Chester George Skotak ... "If it were any taller it would need caution lights for planes."
Peter Tristram ... "Chester George Skotak it came from you, in about 1990 and was marketed as Tristram Red, or the like, in Qld, not by me. They pup like mad. I grew about 50,000 seed once too, hoping for a stripe or 2, then realised the enormity of that task and sold them off, cheap-as, or gave them away, as 'grass'. Still about the biggest imperialis I know of."
Ray Henderson ... "Peter Tristram I'm getting 1% closer to getting a properly striped one every year, maybe. The most promising ones are an orange version."
