Autumn 2016 Show Results. May 7th & 8th.
This was our first Show at Castle Hill Showgrounds and was formaly opened by the Mayor of 'The Hills Shire Council', Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne, Adjunct Professor, who welcomed us to 'The Garden Shire'.
Our Spring Show will be on 24th & 25th September in the Federation Pavillion. The Harvey Lowe Pavillion this show was held in is slightly larger and brighter, but twice the cost and difficult to secure.
The feedback I have been hearing is that many new first-timers attended. More familiar faces may have spent more money, but all the beginners that are becoming addicted is a very good sign for the future of our Society."
There were 15 competitors, and 125 plants benched in total.
Thank you to all who helped run the Show - the number of helpers seems more important than over-exertion by individuals - and thank you to Judges Edwina Caruana-Wain and Terry Davis.
